Year 4 Kent Test Games Session

Service Description

I firmly believe in the benefits of learning through play, and games feature regularly in my sessions. Playing games is a fabulous way to learn! ✅ Playing games increases children’s engagement with their learning. ✅ Games increase motivation and positivity. ✅ Games develop problem-solving skills and planning, improve working memory and encourage experimentation. ✅ Playing games is less daunting than completing more formal tasks. ✅ Games help children learn to take turns, listen to others, work with others and play fairly. ✅ Playing games requires children to be alert and attentive. This helps them maintain focus on later tasks. ✅ Playing games helps to consolidate new knowledge. ✅ Games are fun and foster a positive attitude towards learning. During the school holidays, I'm offering games sessions for children who will be starting their Kent Test preparation work with me once they are in Year 5. The games we play will support development of the vital mental arithmetic, vocabulary and problem-solving skills that will be needed for our Kent Test preparation work. Let’s play! Each games session will last 60 minutes and will cost £20 per child. There will be a maximum of 8 children at each session. Please send me a message if you have any questions.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to amend or cancel your booking with more than 48 hours notice I will endeavour to offer an alternative session; in this instance please contact me. If I am unable to offer an alternative session during the same term, I will 'carry forward' the payment that has already been made and this will show as a credit on your next invoice. This will apply for a maximum of 3 sessions, per pupil, per school year, after which further credits will not be offered. Refunds or credits will not be issued for sessions cancelled with fewer than 48 hours notice.
