Year 5 Kent Test CHRISTMAS Games Session

Service Description

I firmly believe in the benefits of learning through play, and games feature regularly in my sessions. Playing games is a fabulous way to learn! ✅ Playing games increases children’s engagement with their learning. ✅ Games increase motivation and positivity. ✅ Games develop problem-solving skills and planning, improve working memory and encourage experimentation. ✅ Playing games is less daunting than completing more formal tasks. ✅ Games help children learn to take turns, listen to others, work with others and play fairly. ✅ Playing games requires children to be alert and attentive. This helps them maintain focus on later tasks. ✅ Playing games helps to consolidate new knowledge. ✅ Games are fun and foster a positive attitude towards learning. During the Christmas holidays, I'm offering games sessions for my Year 5 Kent Test pupils. The games we play will be fun and Christmas-themed, and will support development of the vital mental arithmetic, vocabulary and problem-solving skills that will be needed for our Kent Test preparation work. Let’s play! Each games session will last 60 minutes and will cost £15 per child. There will be a maximum of 8 children at each session. Please send me a message if you have any questions.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to amend or cancel your booking with more than 48 hours notice I will endeavour to offer an alternative session; in this instance please contact me. If I am unable to offer an alternative session during the same term, I will 'carry forward' the payment that has already been made and this will show as a credit on your next invoice. This will apply for a maximum of 3 sessions, per pupil, per school year, after which further credits will not be offered. Refunds or credits will not be issued for sessions cancelled with fewer than 48 hours notice.
