The Sunnydene roadmap to Kent Test success is a specialist framework designed to provide families with expert guidance and dependable support throughout the preparation process.

My approach moves beyond narrow "coaching"; instead, I focus on building deep subject-mastery in maths, English and reasoning, whilst nurturing the resilience and problem-solving skills children need in order to approach the Kent Test with genuine confidence. By fostering independent thinking rather than simply providing repeated exam practice, I ensure my pupils are equipped to handle the challenges the test presents and are empowered to show their true potential when the day of the test arrives.​

Preparing for the Kent Test is about far more than practising test papers. At Sunnydene Tutoring, I help children develop the knowledge, skills, confidence and resilience they need to approach the test positively and perform at their best.

My Kent Test Preparation Package provides structured weekly tuition throughout Year 5, together with resources and support to help children make progress between sessions.

Your £120 monthly payment includes:

• Weekly term-time group tuition focused on maths, English and reasoning;

• Additional holiday sessions to maintain progress and build confidence;

• Christmas, Easter and summer holiday activity packs;

• Summer mock test, with detailed feedback;

• All of the practice books needed for work at home between sessions;

• Access to the Sunnydene Parents' Pages, including lesson information and guidance;

• Online practice resources to reinforce learning at home;

• Strategy videos explaining key Kent Test question types and techniques;

• Direct support from me between sessions by email, telephone or in person during school hours and most Saturday mornings;

• Access to the Sunnydene Tutoring library, for a constant source of high-quality reading material throughout the year.

The aim is simple: to ensure your child is well prepared, confident and ready to show what they can do on Kent Test day.

Cost: £120 per month, with payments beginning in September and continuing until the 2027 Kent Test.

A £30 non-refundable booking fee is payable when you reserve your child's session space.
