Kent Test Story Writing Workshop

Service Description

The writing task of the Kent Test is only looked at in cases of headteacher appeal but (because we never know what's going to happen on the day of the test) I believe it's vital for the children to know how to produce a superb piece of writing so that this can be used positively as part of an appeal case, if the need arises. During this session, we will focus on planning a short story, developing characters, using descriptive language and much more! The session will comprise lots of discussion and small practical tasks - the children will not be writing an entire story during the session but will leave well-equipped to do so. This session will last 90 minutes and will cost £25 per child. For the 2024 school holidays, I have scheduled multiple Story Writing Workshop sessions. The content of each session will be the same - to enable all of my pupils to attend on a date convenient to them during the holiday - so please only book one space, unless you would like your son or daughter to have access to the session content more than once. Cancellation Policy

If you need to amend or cancel your booking with more than 48 hours notice I will endeavour to offer an alternative session; in this instance please contact me. If I am unable to offer an alternative session during the same term, I will 'carry forward' the payment that has already been made and this will show as a credit on your next invoice. This will apply for a maximum of 3 sessions, per pupil, per school year, after which further credits will not be offered. Refunds or credits will not be issued for sessions cancelled with fewer than 48 hours notice.
