Year 4 English Academy

Service Description

My focussed weekly Kent Test sessions begin at the start of each child’s Year 5. However, ensuring the high standard of English skills that will be needed for our future Kent Test work is something that it's sensible for us to target during Year 4. For this reason, I offer Year 4 English ‘academy’ sessions during the main school holidays and welcome my future Kent Test pupils to come along, so that we can start work on ensuring firm foundations before we begin our more Kent Test focussed work on a weekly basis in Year 5. This session will last 60 minutes and will cost £15 per child. Homework tasks will be set following each session. For the 2023/2024 school year, my Year 4 sessions have been scheduled for the Christmas, Easter and summer holidays. Please check my booking calendar for session dates and times. The content of each session will be different so children can attend all the sessions, occasional sessions or just one of the sessions! Please send me a message if you have any questions.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to amend or cancel your booking with more than 48 hours notice I will endeavour to offer an alternative session; in this instance please contact me. If I am unable to offer an alternative session during the same term, I will 'carry forward' the payment that has already been made and this will show as a credit on your next invoice. This will apply for a maximum of 3 sessions, per pupil, per school year, after which further credits will not be offered. Refunds or credits will not be issued for sessions cancelled with fewer than 48 hours notice.
