Good morning!
This week, we'll be focussing on Spatial Reasoning and exploring a few different types of question during our session. Spatial Reasoning is a type of Non-Verbal Reasoning, but it's concerned with 3 dimensional shapes and with the visualising and manipulating of shapes in space - whereas Non-Verbal Reasoning is related to similarities, differences and changes in (usually) 2D shapes.
Homework for this week is explained in the document below. This is to be completed AFTER this weeks's session please.
Thank you to those parents who joined my Verbal Reasoning information session on Saturday. My next information sessions are:
24th February, 9.30am - 11am: Non-Verbal Reasoning
23rd March, 9.30am - 11am: Spatial Reasoning
I'll post the Zoom links nearer the time, but please add the dates to your diary if you'd like to find out more about these areas of the Kent Test.

I've ordered English and maths practice books for the children to start working through at home.
I buy in bulk so am able to obtain a discount. I'll be adding the reduced cost of these books to your invoice for sessions for next term but will be giving the children their books before the half-term break, as I know there are some parents who are now keen to develop their children's maths and English skills with some more formal practice.
There's some important information about the way that I'd like these books to be used in the document below. Please read this before diving in to the practice tasks and (as always) let me know if there's anything that you're unsure of.
That's all for this week, but please check back next week for more information and for next session's homework.
