The date of the 2024 Kent Test has now been confirmed as Thursday 12th September. Registration will open in June and I will post a link to the registration page once registration opens.
If you believe that your son or daughter may be entitled to extra time, or that any other 'additional access arrangements' may be needed for their test, it's a good idea to discuss these with school now. Any special arrangements will need to be applied for by school and will need to reflect the usual way of working within school, so a conversation now, so that we know what to expect on the day of the test, is always sensible.
As you will know from previous posts, my final term-time sessions of Year 5 will be during the week beginning Monday 15th July. My summer holiday sessions are then scheduled from Wednesday 24th July until the children return to school at the beginning of September. At the start of the new school year, we will have one final group session - on the day and at the time of our term-time sessions this school year - as follows:
Monday pupils: Monday 9th September
Tuesday pupils: Tuesday 10th September
Wednesday pupils: Wednesday 11th September
Thursday pupils: Thursday 5th September
Friday pupils: Friday 6th September
Please add the date of your final session to your calendar. It's an important session.
Although I still have good availability for my group sessions during the summer holiday, I was aware that all of the individual sessions that I had made available had been booked. I have now added some additional 'slots' for individual sessions, so please do look again at my booking calendar if you'd been trying to book a few individual sessions for the summer and hadn't been able to.
